I don’t know about you, but I’ve never enjoyed being around people who think they have it all figured out. Mainly because I know they don’t, and partially because they are just irritating. Especially people who call themselves Christians but act like they have never, for even one second, had doubts. I’ve been a Christian for a long time and for a great deal of that time I’ve had way more questions than answers. In fact, when I get to Heaven (yes, I’m going:)), the first thing I’ll probably do is ask Jesus about 1,000 questions. My guess is He’ll just smile and wrap His arms around me.
For way, way too long, Christians have acted as if doubt is a terrible thing. Something to be talked about only in hushed whispers while looking out for the heresy police. It’s time for that to stop. This Sunday, at New Story Church, we’ll talk about doubt. What causes it, what we do with it, and how, believe it or not, it can be cool.
We’d love to have you join us. If you want to come, just email us and we’ll tell you how to get to where we’re worshipping now. I promise you you’ll be glad you came.
