We’re going to have our first ever service of hope and healing in our new building on Wednesday, February 13 at 7 p.m. When we say “Service of Hope and Healing”, lots of things can come to mind: people falling over, wheelchairs being thrown down, and stuff like that. Our service will be nothing like that.
We believe that all of us are in need of healing in some way. For some of us, it’s for our bodies. We hurt physically. Some of us are emotionally in need of healing. We are depressed, or down, or have been really hurt by someone we loved. Some of us are hurt spiritually. We feel far from God, or have been hurt by a church. And finally, some of us have relationships that need healing.
At our service we’ll sing, have time for prayer, hear a message about healing, and have a chance, only if you want, to be anointed with healing oil and prayed for. If you’d just like to come watch, you can certainly do that. If you’d like to come on behalf of someone else, you can certainly do that, too.
This will be a very low key service. When we have services like this, people always leave feeling better and more whole. We hope you’ll come. God tells us that even the tiniest bit of faith can move mountains. Just coming is an act of faith.
If you have any questions, please let us know. We can’t wait to see you on Wednesday.
