We’re growing. And fast. When we started meeting with our core group in a house for worship about a six weeks ago, we thought we’d have a lot of time before we outgrew the space. Boy were we wrong. So, as we wait for our permanent building to be finished and ready for worship, we are going to move to a temporary new place for worship on Sunday mornings. And it’s in an incredible place. It is….wait for it…in a bowling alley. What could be cooler than that? Just think of all the terrible bowling analogies we can use now…life in the gutter?, we’ll pull you out; striking out in life?, we’ve got the cure; got some time to spare?, worship with us. Wow. And think of the cool shoes we can wear each week. Stylin’ in worship. Yeah, baby!
Okay, before we get totally out of control, here’s the details: Starting on Sunday, June 10th, we’ll begin meeting for worship at the Creekside Bowling Lanes right off of I-40 and Peter’s Creek Parkway in Winston-Salem. There’s a map right on our website that will show you the exact directions. Worship will start at 9:30 a.m., but come a little early for coffee, donuts, and fellowship. If you’ve been wanting to join us but have been hesitant to come to a house for worship, here’s your chance to come see what all the excitement is about.
And just think…if the sermon gets a little boring, you can always bowl a few frames. It’s really a no lose proposition. So come join us and start finding a New Story for your life.
